Pankow Hawaii shopped for Angel Tree

On the evening of December 11, 2015, just prior to their Christmas Dinner Party, Pankow Hawaii selected and shopped for Angel Tree presents at Ala Moana Shopping Center in Honolulu. The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program helps underprivileged children and the elderly by providing Christmas gifts to them during the holiday season. Each participant was able to play Santa Claus and helped brighten the holidays for those in need. Our Pankow Warriors visited their local shopping mall and picked an angel tag from the tree, which corresponds to a child or senior with a special wish for Christmas. They each purchased the requested gifts (or equivalent) thanks to Pankow's generosity along with additional contributions from the office. They dropped off the presents on December 18th (with gift tag attached) and the Angel Tree program distributed the gifts to each recipient. For many children and the elderly, the gifts they received through Angel Tree are the only ones they opened on Christmas.
