Celebrating a Milestone in Supportive Housing at 600 San Pedro

600 San Pedro exemplifies the power of collaboration in addressing homelessness and fostering community.

Pankow Builders proudly marks the ribbon-cutting of 600 San Pedro, a transformative 17-story development delivering 302 units of permanent supportive housing in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.

Developed through a visionary Design-Build partnership with Related California, the Weingart Center Association, and LARGE Architects, this project stands as the largest 100% permanent supportive housing development in the city. It exemplifies the power of collaboration in addressing homelessness and fostering community.

“Building 600 San Pedro was more than a construction effort; it was a commitment to dignity, resilience, and community,” said Lindsey Gray, Project Executive. “Partnering with Weingart and Related and so many talented and dedicated subcontractors and designers on this landmark Design-Build project was an absolute honor, and we are proud to have played a role in creating a place of hope and opportunity for so many.”

Beyond providing housing, 600 San Pedro offers residents comprehensive on-site services, including case management, mental and physical healthcare, substance use support, employment assistance, and educational programs. Amenities such as a fitness center, library, community garden, and amphitheater further enrich the living experience.

This ribbon cutting represents more than just the completion of a building, it’s a powerful step in building a more equitable Los Angeles.
