Gateway for Learning
Valley Glen Gateway Building and Omega Data Center, Valley Glen, CA
Pankow served as Design-Builder for the new 70,000 SF Valley Glen Gateway Building and Omega Data Center at Los Angeles Valley College. The project encompassed relocating the Omega Data Center (ODC) and Main Point of Entry (MPOE) to a new freestanding building, creating swing space for displaced staff, and demolishing the existing Administration Building. The new Gateway Building provides modern academic and administrative space, enhanced by site improvements.
The project utilized Building Information Modeling (BIM), achieved LEED® Silver certification, and was executed with safety as the top priority on an active college campus.
