Overview
The Castle Medical Center ICU Project consisted of detailed renovation work to the existing Intensive Care Unit while the space remained fully-operational. High infection control measures were implemented to maintain patient wellbeing and the integrity of the unit and services.
Due to the fact that most of the renovation work was conducted on a level above hospital operating rooms, carefully-coordinated and considerate work sequencing was essential in order to minimize any negative impacts to surrounding hospital functionality.
