Matt serves as Director of Operations for Southern California, where he leads with a focus on operational discipline, team development, and project excellence. Since joining the company, he has built a reputation for hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and a steady approach to navigating complex work.

With nearly two decades at Pankow Builders and more than two decades in the construction industry, Matt oversees the full lifecycle of project delivery—from proposal and planning through execution and close-out. He collaborates closely with field leadership, clients, and consultants to align construction logistics, staffing, and resource allocation. He also promotes Lean practices and a culture of continuous learning and performance.

A LEED® Accredited Professional, Matt is known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to building resilient teams. His mentoring mindset and operational expertise continue to raise delivery standards and support long-term success across the region.

Outside of work, I coach my daughter’s softball teams. It’s one of the best parts of my week.

I spend my free time woodworking around the house, building everything from shelves and built-ins to custom humidors.
