As President of Pankow Builders, Dave leads company operations and plays a key role in advancing strategic initiatives. He is focused on aligning teams across regions, strengthening field operations, and ensuring that best practices are implemented consistently and improved continuously.

With nearly four decades at Pankow Builders, Dave brings extensive experience in both technical and leadership roles. Throughout his tenure, he has served as Senior Vice President/Regional Manager, Project Executive, Project Sponsor, and Engineer, contributing to the company’s operational excellence and long-term growth.

A LEED Accredited Professional, Dave is also deeply involved in supporting construction education. He serves on the Advisory Committee at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and on the Board of the Design-Build Institute of America’s Western Pacific Region.

Fun Facts

I’m the fourth of six kids, which means I learned early how to speak up, and when to stay out of the way.

I have a deep appreciation for a good glass of red wine, especially when shared over a great story.

I got my start in construction the hard way: digging ditches, pounding nails, and sweeping floors on a jobsite in Beverly Hills.
