Since joining the company, Chip has helped strengthen Pankow Builders’ presence across the region by working closely with clients, design partners, and internal teams to align project vision with delivery strategy. His insight is especially impactful during the early planning stages, where he helps shape outcomes that balance ambition, feasibility, and long-term value.

Chip has also contributed to the broader community through board service with the Urban Land Institute and St. Philip the Apostle School. With over two decades in the industry, he is known for his collaborative leadership, deep market understanding, and commitment to building enduring partnerships.

Fun Facts

I’ve always wanted to learn photography. There’s nothing worse than being somewhere amazing and ending up with a so-so picture.

If I weren’t in construction, I’d be working as a college athletic director.

My favorite way to unwind is taking a walk with my labs, Cooper and Tucker.

I always recommend Rich Dad Poor Dad—I wish I had read it earlier, and I’ve already passed it along to all my kids.

If I could have dinner with any historical figure, it’d be Jackie Robinson. I’m a lifelong Dodgers fan, and while there’s a lot written about him breaking the color barrier, I’d love to hear it in his own words.

I collect bicentennial quarters. It felt special back when it was the only unique one before every state had their own.

My favorite place I’ve traveled to is Florence, Italy. The art, the architecture, the pace—it’s unforgettable.
