Carl serves as Vice President of Wood Structures, providing strategic oversight and technical leadership for the company’s wood-framed and mass timber work. He brings deep expertise in constructability, structural coordination, and building code compliance—guiding teams from preconstruction through completion with a focus on quality, cost, and schedule alignment.

Carl works closely with design partners, project teams, and executive leadership to develop efficient structural solutions and manage risk. His leadership continues to expand Pankow Builders’ capabilities in wood construction, supporting delivery excellence through innovation and technical rigor.

With a career in construction dating back to 1998, Carl holds a B.S. in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Associate and continues to support industry advancement through collaboration and forward-thinking leadership.
