The La Salle High School Design Build team presented at this year's DBIA conference on the topic of "Small Project Challenges and Keys to Success".
Chip Ossman - Owner Rep (Ossman Project Management) Harry Drake - Gonzalez Goodale Architects along with Pankow Project Executive Dustin Smith shared case studies and a pro forma for the effective, economic delivery of an owner’s small project concept through design-build.
As part of La Salle High School’s multi-phased Master Plan, Pankow provided design-build services to renovate its existing men’s and women’s locker rooms. Project greatly enhances La Salle High School’s regional athletic programs, setting it apart from others of its kind in the San Gabriel Valley.
This presentation reminds small project owners and project delivery executives of the value added by design-build. Converting the owner’s concepts and performance needs to a completed project, and keeping the owner informed throughout, engages our design-build toolkit to exceed the owner’s expectations in project delivery.
