The Pankow team was a first time participant at the 14^th Annual Playworks Corporate Kickball tournament at Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park. It turned out to be a glorious day when "Karl the Fog" broke apart and gave in to the warm sun rays that are sometimes rarely seen at park. The Pankow Warriors had a ferocious team led by the once animated Pankow softball manager, Billy Keller. They came to the field on the quest for not only winning the whole tournament against the corporate likes of Google, FTI Consulting, Skyline, and DPR, but to help Playworks get more kids outside to play! In the end, Pankow did not prevail to win the championships even though they were so close.
