Honolulu Design Center

Honolulu

Overview

The Honolulu Design Center is a three-story, 80,000 SF retail center built on a fast-track schedule - from February 2006 to December 2006 - despite site constraints and challenging building geometry. Double convex and convex curved façade is constructed of a composite aluminum panel system (Alucobond) and glazed curtain wall. Unique project elements include polished concrete floors and exposed concrete structure for ceiling, circular assembly area with retractable skylight and third-level lanai overlooking Kapi'olani Boulevard.
