Overview
Gateway Center is a multi-modal, truly mixed-use project. It includes a 28-story office tower that serves as the headquarters for the MTA, a 3,300 car, four-level subterranean parking garage, an entry portal to Union Station and the Red Line subway system, and a 120,000 SF brick-paved bus plaza. The office tower also includes a 350-seat boardroom, a 300-seat cafeteria, a child care center, and a pistol range. The tower is framed with 8,500 tons of structural steel and is clad with 307,000 SF of natural stone on the exterior skin elements.
