Pankow Builders Announces Jack Mollenkopf as Southern California Vice President

Jack is a 20-year veteran in the field of construction and an executive leader for Pankow well-known for his solutions-oriented ideas and cool-headed demeanor. Since joining Pankow in 1995, Jack has worked as Project Executive, Project Sponsor, Project Superintendent, Project Engineer and Field Engineer. He is responsible for overseeing all preconstruction and construction activities, while providing executive-level oversight with a focus on ensuring that the delivery of services exceeds client expectations.

“I am pleased to pass the torch onto Jack. With his industry reputation of the highest integrity and ability, his client-focused approach has led clients and other stake holders to request him by name for their projects,” says Dave Eichten, newly appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Pankow. “Jack’s skills and leadership are a great compliment to the role of Regional Vice President.”

Jack’s contributions can be seen in a number of significant projects such as the County of Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley Family Support Center, a new 212,000 SF office building and a new 1,326-car Parking Structure; The Village at Santa Monica, a new 324-unit residential (a mix of affordable and market-rate housing) and retail development with a three-level, below-grade parking garage; as well as a complex renovation of Kaiser Cerritos Medical Office Building, comprised of 33 provider offices including Adult Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

Throughout his career, Jack has actively supported the advancement of construction industry education. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Purdue University’s Construction Engineering and Management Department and as a Board Member of the Los Angeles Chapter ACE Mentor Program. He is also a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). Jack holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

“The construction industry continues to experience rapid change and Pankow is committed to being nimble and innovative to stay ahead of the curve,” states Kim Lum, Chief Executive Officer of Pankow. “Pankow believes in the skills and abilities of our future leaders to bring continued long-term success for the company.”
