Pasadena, May 2009 - Pankow has appointed Mike Helton as President of Pankow Special Projects, LP (PSPL). Helton took over the post from Dick Walterhouse who will continue as Chief Risk Officer for the Pankow group of companies. Helton, who has been serving as Executive Vice President of PSPL since 2008, will oversee operations of the $100 million company. Prior to joining PSPL, he was with Opus West, where he served as Director of Construction, and the Haskell Company serving in various roles including Regional Vice President, Director of Director of the Aviation Division and Director of Construction.
“We are fortunate to have Mike as part of our executive management team” stated Rik Kunnath, Pankow Chief Executive Officer. “He brings strategic leadership to achieve our goals for growth and market diversity.”
Mr. Helton received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. He is a LEED Accredited Professional by the US Green Building Council, and is the President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley.
