Pasadena, November 7, 2007 - Charles Pankow Builders, Ltd. (CPBL) moves one step closer to completing construction on the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel being developed by The Athens Group. “Topping out” marks the structural completion of this high-profile seven-story luxury hotel located in Beverly Hills.

Scheduled to complete in fall of 2008, the stunning Spanish Colonial Revival style building will include 201 guestrooms, restaurants, a 20,000-square-foot spa and 9,500-square-feet of meeting space. The project also includes a subterranean parking garage for 1,172 cars.

“We are proud of the progress Pankow has made on the Montage Project,” said Dave Eichten, Vice President and Regional Manager for Pankow’s operations in Southern California. “A combination of hard work and great coordination between all the members of the project team has resulted in reaching this milestone.”

The architect for the project is HKS/Hill Glazier Studio; structural engineer is Seattle-based Magnusson Klemencic.
