Construction Complete on the Eastern Columbia Condominium Conversion and Parking Structure

January, 2007 - The residents are moving in. Pankow completed this adaptive re-use project right on schedule, converting an historical 1929 building in downtown Los Angeles into loft-style condominiums. The work included restoring a striking turquoise glazed terra cotta façade, original steel-framed windows and a decorative terrazzo floor in the main lobby. A roof-top swimming pool, Jacuzzi, exercise room and sun deck were also added to the building at the Penthouse level providing one-of-a-kind views of downtown Los Angeles and to the mountains in the North.
