PSPL San Francisco Completes Science Labs at Dinuba High School

Pasadena, January 2008 - Pankow Special Projects recently completed a $2.5 million design-build project for Chevron Energy Services at the Dinuba Unified School District in the Central Valley. A ribbon cutting, which was attended by more than 100 officials and guests, signaled the official opening of five new state-of-the-art science laboratories at Dinuba High School in what was formerly an 8,000-square-foot classroom building. To achieve the transformation, the PSPL team completely gutted and renovated the building, self-performing framing, toilet partitions and accessories, miscellaneous concrete, drywall/framing/hardware and miscellaneous carpentry. The new high-tech science laboratories provide flexible space to accommodate conceptual physics and chemistry course requirements.

“Our team completed the work in seven months, while school was in session,” explained Wally Naylor. “And, received plentiful compliments for their ability to get the work done without disrupting the school operations and for the cleanliness and safety of the jobsite.”

This work followed on the previously completed energy equipment upgrade performed by PSPL Pasadena.
