Pankow Names New Regional Manager for Northern California

Pasadena, July 2009 -  Pankow is pleased to announce that Scott Anderson, P.E., has assumed the role of Vice President and Regional Manager to lead the northern California operations of Charles Pankow Builders. Anderson takes over the regional manager position from Kim Lum, Executive Vice President, who recently joined the executive management team in the company’s Pasadena headquarters.

“Scott Anderson is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in development and construction,” stated Rik Kunnath, chief executive officer, “Throughout his career at Pankow, he has contributed significantly to our success and I look forward to his leadership in the coming years.”

During his 14 years with Pankow, Anderson has been responsible for over $500 million in construction projects. Most recently as Project Executive, he headed up the Jack London Square Site G project, a technically complex million parking structure and retail project which is part of the Ellis Partners’ $350 million Oakland waterfront redevelopment project; and, Center Twenty-One, a LEED Gold Certified office building in downtown Oakland.

Anderson received his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and Bachelor of Science degrees in civil engineering and mathematics from the University of Maryland. He is a registered California engineer, a LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), serving on the Board Advisory Committee on Sustainable Development and the Tolerance Committee.
